Did I mention I hate the treadmill?

Running has always been my least favorite thing to do. But I played basketball, I played football, I played in high school and college, not to mention all the play in the alley off West Blvd. And that hill that I ran up on my stopper [skates] just to ride down by the bus stop bench.

 Which lead to many asthma attacks. Shoot we ran 6 minute miles in high school. When I think about it, that was the hardest training I ever did in my life up to this day, I thought I was gonna die sometimes, and that was the beginning of practice; no shit! Ask a Roman

 What I’ve always done since I was a young buck,  I was able to take things that I didn’t really enjoy and turn them into games. Thats how I win I figured out how to have fun and now I enjoy it then I get reps, cuz now its fun. First find your best music, something that you can ride out to. Then set the speed a little higher than normal start jogging, the key is not to ever stop, change the speeds around, all just above your comfort zone. Use the heart rate monitors, peak your heart rate, bring it down never stopping. Do lunges, do bare walks, walk backwards, take big strides, act like your mowing the lawn, run up hills, and down hills. But in your head pretend that you’re in the woods, it just finished raining you can smell the trees,   and it’s a little bit moist.
